Monty Morris, PA-C
Monty Morris was raised in nearby Argyle, and went to Texas A&M University. Monty originally started his career as a Firefighter Paramedic in North Dallas, where he would earn "Rookie of the Year" honors. Soon after this achievement, Monty would become Paramedic of the Year and continue to serve for over a decade. While caring for his patients, he realized he wanted to build long term relationships with them and ensure they received the attention and quality of care they deserved. This passion ultimately drove Monty’s decision to pursue a career as a medical provider.
Monty established and has owned Justin Family Medical since 2001. Monty and his staff find joy in treating the patients like they are part of the family. The quality time and care Justin Family Medical spends with each patient is the same time and care they would spend with their own mother or brother.
Monty went on to graduate from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and was named the President of his charter class. Monty also serves as a Clinical Professor appointed by:

Outside of the clinic, Monty enjoys spending time with Amy, his children, bonus children and grandchildren. Monty and Amy love to attend faith filled events including church and Christian concerts. They are active members of Gracepointe Church in Denton, where they serve on the Greeting Ministry Team. They are also both very passionate in caring, raising and enjoying their registered longhorn cattle. If you visit the 5-Four Ranch in Krum, it would not be unusual to see them riding their "scooby" from pasture to pasture to make sure the longhorns are comfortable, content and thriving!
Maribel Mendoza, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Maribel’s passion for healthcare began long before she became a nurse. Born in Mexico, she immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of five. By age seven, she already knew she wanted to become a nurse. After receiving a toy first aid kit from her parents, she loved tending to every cut and scrape she encountered. What began as a childhood dream eventually grew into a career she continues to love today.
Maribel began her nursing career after graduating with honors from nursing school in Manhattan, Kansas, in 2018. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Texas and has proudly called Texas home ever since. Throughout her eight years in nursing, Maribel has gained experience in a variety of specialties, including psychiatric nursing, substance use disorder treatment, elementary school nursing, operating room nursing, pre-operative care, and post-anesthesia care. Each chapter of her nursing career has provided valuable experiences and, most importantly, the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the patients and colleagues she has met along the way.
While working as a nurse, Maribel continued her education and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Tarleton State University in 2021, graduating cum laude. Driven by a desire to expand her knowledge and better serve her patients, she later attended Texas Woman’s University, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner and excelled in her clinical coursework.
Becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner was a natural continuation of Maribel’s passion for nursing. She pursued advanced practice nursing to expand the care she could provide while continuing to build the meaningful patient relationships she valued as a nurse. Maribel enjoys getting to know her patients, listening to their concerns, and working together to develop a plan that fits their individual needs. She believes patients should feel heard, respected, and actively involved in decisions about their health. As a bilingual provider fluent in English and Spanish, Maribel is grateful for the opportunity to connect with and care for patients from diverse backgrounds.
Outside of the clinic, Maribel is an avid reader and enjoys leading her own book club. She also loves camping, kayaking, hiking, playing pickleball, and spending time with family and friends. Her faith is an important part of her life, and she enjoys attending church and staying involved in her community.
